THE EXPERIMENT IN CANCUN

What Is Going To Happen December 21, 2012?

We hope to find out at the 2012 Tipping Point Conference in Cancun
through Remote Viewing
January 22-24, 2010 Conference
January 22-28, 2010 Conference + Pilgrimage to Mayan sites

And the way we plan to do this is by bringing in RUSSELL TARG, co-founder of the previously top-secret Stanford Research Institute’s investigation into psychic abilities in the 1970s and 1980s for the CIA and the military.

Conferees will participate in The Experiment in Cancun with Russell Targ to remote view December 21, 2012.

Russell Targ will discuss with us in Cancun his role as co-founder of a remote viewing/ESP research program for the CIA at the Stanford Research Institute (SRI) during the Cold War.

(For a fun perspective about what went on with the CIA and US Army experiments and training with the psychic designs co-developed by Targ and his team at the then top secret SRI, go see the film “The Men who Stare at Goats”, starring George Clooney, Ewan McGregor, Kevin Spacey, and Jeff Brides, opens Nov. 6, from the bestselling book of the same name by Jon Ronson. Film Trailer for “The Men Who Stare At Goats” — www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4nzXt4QaYk&feature=player_embedded)

The remote viewing program at SRI did yield significant intelligence, Targ noted. For instance, one remote viewer drew pictures of a Soviet weapons laboratory, and described a particle beam weapon under construction. Four years later, this information was verified by US spy satellites. We also found a crashed Soviet reconnaissance plane, and a kidnapped General, he said. Yet in 1995, after 23 years, the viable program was dismantled by Robert Gates, then head of the CIA because of religious fundamentalist pressure.

One of the secrets to successful remote viewing is being able to quiet the mind, and then draw what pops into your awareness, Targ explained. Skilled remote viewers like Ingo Swann were even able to see things off planet– he drew rings around the planet Jupiter, and Mercury’s magnetic field, before either were confirmed in 1974. Such experiences point to a field of non-local awareness that we can tap into.

Scientific and Spiritual Implications of Psychic Abilities:
Experiencing the Future (2012) with Remote Viewing
Russell Targ

What do the healer, the mystic, the psychic, and the spy all have in common? They are all in touch with their non-local mind and our community of spirit. During the 1970’s and 80’s, Stanford Research Institute (SRI) carried out investigations of our ability to experience and describe distant events blocked from ordinary perception. This intuitive capacity was named remote viewing, and the research was supported by the CIA and many other government organizations for gathering intelligence about world-wide activities during the Cold War.

Physicist Russell Targ, co-founder of this previously SECRET psychic research program, will describe the very best evidence for extrasensory perception, precognition, intuitive diagnosis and distant healing. In the Cancun workshop we will experience many of these applications, together with the spiritual implications of psychic abilities from the Hindu mystic Patanjali, and the Dzogchen dharma masters, down to the present time, as they might be applied to expanding ones timeless and nonlocal awareness. We will discuss how to recognize the actual psychic signal, and separate it from mental noise of memory, imagination, and analysis – and why should we bother with ESP? Finally, and most important, we will have lessons in remote viewing, just as they did in the successful Stanford Research Institute program, and then use these abilities to view a specific location on the Winter solstice of 2012, a location by its presence would give a message for all to understand.

2012 TIPPING POINT – The Prophets Conference Cancun
22-29 January 2010

The purpose of this conference is to explore a radically different, more optimistic interpretation of the Mayan prophecy – as referring to the end of the world as we have known it. Instead of predicting a physical destruction of the material world, the Mayan prophecy might refer to death and rebirth and a mass inner transformation of humanity. The conference brings together Stanislav Grof, Jose Arguelles, Graham Hancock, Jacque Fresco, John Major Jenkins, Christine Page, Daniel Pinchbeck, Roxanne Meadows, Russell Targ, and Miguel Angel Vergara in the beautiful setting of Cancun, Mexico. Following the conference will be a pilgrimage to the Mayan sites of Chichen Itza, Coba, Ek Balam, and Muyil.

2012 AND HUMAN DESTINY: END OF THE WORLD OR CONSCIOUSNESS REVOLUTION? Stan Grof, M.D.

Posted by gsmystic on 14th October 2009
Since the publication of Jose Arguelles’ book The Mayan Factor: Path Beyond Technology (Arguelles 1987) brought to the attention of lay audiences the ancient prophecy concerning the end of the Maya Long Count calendar, which started on August 11, 3114 BC, and will end on December 21, 2012 AD, this date has become the focus of many articles, books, and of a forthcoming movie entitled 2012. Similar prophecies about the end of the Great Cycle can be found in many other cultural and religious groups – the Hopi, Navajo, Cherokee, Apache, Iroquois confederacy, ancient Egyptians, the Kabbalists, Essenes, Qero elders of Peru, the Subsaharan Dogon tribe, and the Australian Aborigines.
With a few exceptions, the Mayan prophecy about the end of the cosmic cycle, the Fifth World, has been interpreted in terms of actual physical destruction of humanity and of the material world, in a way similar to the interpretation (or better misinterpretation) of the term apocalypse by Christian fundamentalists, particularly the millions of American Christians who believe that at the time of this global destruction they will experience “rapture” and be united with Jesus.
People who see it this way are not aware of the fact that the original and literal meaning of the term apocalypse (Greek) is not destruction but “lifting of the veil” or “revelation.” It referred to the disclosure of some secrets hidden from the majority of humanity to certain privileged persons. The source of the misinterpretation of this word is probably the phrase “apokálypsis eschaton” which literally means “revelation at the end of the æon, or age.”
The purpose of this conference is to explore a radically different, more optimistic interpretation of the Mayan prophecy – as referring to the end of the world as we have known it: a world dominated by unbridled violence and insatiable greed, egotistic hierarchy of values, corrupted institutions and corporations, and irreconcilable conflicts between organized religions. Instead of predicting a physical destruction of the material world, the Mayan prophecy might refer to death and rebirth and a mass inner transformation of humanity. In order to explore this idea, we have to answer two important questions, First, how could ancient Mayans two thousand years ago predict what situation humanity would be facing in the twenty-first century? And second, are there any indications that modern society, more specifically the industrial civilization, is currently on the verge of a major psychospiritual transformation? I will try to address these questions in the course of my presentation.

2012 AND HUMAN DESTINY: END OF THE WORLD OR CONSCIOUSNESS REVOLUTION? Stan Grof, M.D.

“For millennia, mankind had wandered in the darkness…but now, as had been prophesied, there was a change coming. After hurtling blindly through history, mankind has reached a crossroads. This moment had been predicted long ago, prophesied by the ancient texts, by the primeval calendars, and even by the stars themselves. The date was specific, its arrival imminent. It would be preceded by a brilliant explosion of knowledge…a flash of clarity to illuminate the darkness and give mankind a final chance to veer away from the abyss and take the path of wisdom.”

2012: THE RETURN OF THE GREAT MOTHER
Christine Page, M.D.
It is said there will be a return of the feminine in 2012, portrayed in the symbols of the Virgin, the Mother, and the Crone. This emergence of the feminine inherently implies a death, or diminishing, of masculine energy. According to author, teacher and Cancun Prophets Conference presenter Dr. Christine Page, this change of tides, or shift in feminine/masculine power, can be seen as “the completion of the hero’s journey.” She shows not only how the myths of the feminine and the masculine incarnation relate to our personal journey toward 2012 and a new consciousness, but also how we can use the lessons of these symbols and myths to prepare ourselves for the coming changes.
Welcome To The Greatest Show On Earth
“Congratulations—you are among a select Group of souls who won the lottery to be here, on this planet, at this time! The prize not only ensures you a front row seat but also the unique opportunity to cocreate the future of the human race. Your contribution, along with that of other awakened souls, will create a blueprint, which will influence your ancestors and the next 26,000 years of human existence. This is what you have been working toward during your many incarnations; this is the moment you’ve been awaiting. This is a time to remember.
“For the first time in 26,000 years, our sun and, by implication, the Earth is aligned with the dark rift of the galaxy, the Milky Way. The path of interstellar dust is known as the “black road” by the Maya and leads us directly to the galactic center.
“According to the ancient people who observed the skies night after night, the Milky Way represents the great mother and the great serpent, both synonymous with death and rebirth, the essential ingredients of transformation. The dark rift is seen as a symbol of both the open vagina of the mother and the gaping mouth of the serpent. Whatever the symbol, the message is the same: this is the portal through which we are born, and it is to here that we will return to die.
“To the indigenous people, this center represents the heart of the great mother. It was here that king-priests and shamans would travel to receive the insights and wisdom that could be translated into reality for the well-being of the land and its people. It is seen as the portal to multidimensional reality, parallel worlds, the void, the place of nothingness and the ocean of possibilities, accessible in the past only to the elite or those in deep meditative states. Now, at this extraordinary time, its riches are available to all of us if we can step outside our limiting belief patterns and rekindle the innocence and joy that allow us to harmonize with the pulse of the great mother.
“We are like children in a candy store, and the great mother is offering us an unlimited array of goodies. Yet, if our hearts and minds are still locked into a particular paradigm of belief concerning ourselves and the world, all we will see and select are the candies with which we are familiar, and we will pass by the rest. This is certainly a good moment to take a risk.” —Christine Page, M. D.
